Our vision is to bring the joy of music making to everyone. To reclaim music as a community activity that is inclusive rather than exclusive. That breaks down the barriers between performers and audience.
Particularly in Primary schools music can get lost amongst all the other priorities. We believe that the experience of playing music in a group has huge benefits across the whole curriculum and beyond. We train teachers and classroom assistants to feel confident running regular group sessions using the basic universal principles of music.
Our inset days are also often used as a team building event and we can focus the activities in that direction if desired.
John Walter has 15 years experience teaching right across the age range from Reception to KS4. He founded DrumCrazy in Jan 2000 and has built the company to a highly professional team of facilitators working all over the Uk and abroad.
